On this episode of Next Level Minds I had the opportunity to sit down with Justin Llyod, the Founder of Angry Angel Energy—an antioxidant, caffeine infused energy drink that has changed the way people view the industry. Justin has an incredible story of growth. He grew up pursuing a career in auto-racing and was constantly surrounded by the industry-leading energy drinks that you know of today, which are filled with sugar and other harmful ingredients. Over the next few years, the energy drink industry continued to grow and Justin drank the only options available—unhealthy and filled with empty calories. During his time as an engineering college student, he finally asked himself, “why is there not a healthier option?” The alternatives were nothing more than glorified tea with carbonation and lacked the branding that portrayed a get-it-done lifestyle.
